Resin printing
Resin printing is a 3D printing method that uses a liquid photopolymer resin which hardens when exposed to specific wavelengths of light, typically ultraviolet (UV). The printer projects light onto the resin surface layer by layer, curing each layer into solid plastic. This process allows for high-precision and detailed models, ideal for intricate designs. Resin printers are often faster and produce smoother finishes than filament-based printers. Once printing is complete, excess resin is cleaned off, and the object is usually cured further with UV light to ensure full strength and stability.
