Research Councils UK

Research Councils UK (RCUK) was an organization that coordinated the UK's main government-funded research councils, which support scientific and academic research across various fields such as health, science, engineering, and social sciences. Their role was to fund, develop, and promote research to advance knowledge, innovation, and economic growth in the UK. In 2018, RCUK was integrated into UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), a single body that now oversees research funding and policy across the UK.
