rescue tube

A rescue tube is a flotation device used by lifeguards to assist and support swimmers in distress. It is typically made of buoyant material and features a strap or handle for the rescuee to hold onto or be secured with. When a swimmer needs help, the lifeguard throws or swims with the rescue tube to them, allowing the swimmer to hold onto it and be pulled more easily to safety. Rescue tubes enhance safety by providing a reliable means of supporting unconscious or exhausted swimmers, reducing the risk of further injury during a rescue.
