Reps and Sets
Reps (short for repetitions) are the number of times you perform a specific exercise movement in a row, such as lifting a weight or doing a push-up. Sets are groups of these repetitions performed consecutively before taking a break. For example, if you do 10 push-ups, that's 10 reps. Doing three sets means repeating this 10 times, resting in between each set. Reps and sets help measure and structure workout routines, allowing for proper progression, muscle building, or endurance improvement depending on the volume and intensity.
