reproductive system
The reproductive system is a set of organs and structures involved in creating new life. In females, it includes ovaries, which release eggs, and the uterus, where a fertilized egg can develop into a baby. In males, it includes the testes, which produce sperm, and the penis, which delivers sperm during sex. The system works together during reproduction: sperm and egg meet, usually in the female’s reproductive tract, possibly leading to pregnancy. It also involves hormones that regulate the process, support sexual development, and maintain reproductive health.
