Representations of space
Representations of space are ways we mentally and physically organize, visualize, and understand the areas around us. This can include maps, models, or descriptions that help us grasp the layout of places, from city streets to entire landscapes. These representations can be spatial data, such as GIS maps, or mental images we create in our minds. They enable us to navigate, plan, and comprehend spatial relationships effectively, bridging the physical environment with our perception and understanding of it.
