Remsima

Remsima is a biological medicine, known as a biosimilar, that mimics infliximab, a drug used to treat autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's disease. It works by blocking a protein called TNF-alpha, which causes inflammation in the body. By reducing this inflammation, Remsima helps manage symptoms and prevent joint and tissue damage. Being a biosimilar, it offers a similar effect to the original drug but often at a lower cost, increasing access for patients needing these treatments.
