Remmen

Remmen are components used in mechanical systems to control or limit movement, often by applying resistance. Essentially, they act as brakes or dampers, slowing down or stopping motion to improve safety, stability, or performance. For example, in bicycles, bicycle brakes (a form of remmen) reduce speed or stop the bike. In engineering, remmen can be hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromagnetic devices that manage the speed or force of moving parts. They are essential in ensuring machinery operates smoothly and safely by preventing uncontrolled or excessive movement.
