Religious Violence
Religious violence involves acts of harm or conflict motivated by differing beliefs or practices related to faith. It occurs when groups or individuals feel their religious values are threatened, leading to aggressive actions such as wars, terrorism, or persecution. Often fueled by misunderstandings, intolerance, political power struggles, or historical grievances, religious violence can escalate conflicts within or between communities. While rooted in faith, such violence typically distorts religious teachings, causing suffering and division rather than promoting spiritual understanding or peace.
