Regional Capoeira
Regional Capoeira is a refined style of the Afro-Brazilian martial art Capoeira, developed in the early 20th century by Mestre Bimba. It emphasizes structured movements, strategic techniques, and traditional forms, combining rhythmic music, dance, and combat. Unlike the more improvisational, game-like style of Angola Capoeira, Regional focuses on precise, systematic training, often performed in a circle called a “roda.” Its goal is to develop agility, strength, and coordination while preserving cultural heritage. Regional Capoeira is widely practiced internationally, blending martial arts, dance, and cultural expression into a dynamic, collaborative art form.
