Refuse Derived Fuel

Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is a processed form of waste material, primarily composed of non-recyclable plastics, paper, and other combustible waste. It is created by shredding and treating waste to remove non-combustible items like metals and glass. The remaining material is then used as an alternative fuel source in industries such as cement kilns or power plants, helping reduce reliance on traditional fossil fuels. RDF allows waste that cannot be recycled commercially to be converted into energy, promoting waste reduction and energy recovery in an environmentally responsible manner.
