Refugee and Asylee Follow-to-Join Program

The Refugee and Asylee Follow-to-Join Program allows family members of refugees and asylees in the U.S. to join them. When a person is granted refugee status or asylum due to fears of persecution in their home country, their spouse and children can apply to come to the U.S. as well. This program helps reunite families who have been separated due to displacement. Eligible family members must apply within a specific timeframe after the refugee or asylee's approval, ensuring they have the opportunity to live together safely in the United States.
