Red Sport International
Red Sport International was an organization founded in 1928 to promote and coordinate socialist and workers' sports movements worldwide. It aimed to encourage physical activity and athletic competition among working-class and socialist communities, emphasizing solidarity, health, and political activism. Operating under the influence of the Soviet Union, it sought to challenge Western sports organizations seen as aligned with capitalist interests. The organization organized international sports events and supported affiliated groups, but it was dissolved in the 1930s amid political tensions and shifting priorities within the socialist movement.
