Recruit Training Command (RTC) is the main facility responsible for turning new military recruits into trained Sailors. It provides initial education, discipline, and foundational skills necessary for service in the U.S. Navy. Located at Naval Station Great Lakes in Illinois, RTC conducts rigorous training programs that cover physical fitness, naval skills, teamwork, and core values.
