Rebounding
Rebounding refers to the process where a ball bounces off a surface, such as a basketball off the backboard or rim, or the floor itself. In sports like basketball, it also describes a player's ability to recover possession of the ball after a missed shot, by quickly jumping to catch or retrieve it. Effective rebounding involves timing, positioning, and strength, enabling players to gain additional scoring opportunities or prevent opponents from doing so. It’s a critical skill because it can influence the flow of game momentum and overall team performance.
