Reanimation

Reanimation refers to the medical procedures used to restore circulation and breathing in someone who has stopped these functions, typically due to cardiac arrest or respiratory failure. The most common method is cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which involves chest compressions and rescue breaths to maintain blood flow and oxygen supply until advanced medical help arrives. Reanimation aims to preserve brain function and prevent death by quickly restoring vital signs, often involving defibrillation if an abnormal heart rhythm is detected. It is a critical skill that can significantly improve survival chances during emergencies.
