Reactor No. 4

Reactor No. 4 refers to a nuclear reactor located at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. It was designed to produce electricity but suffered a catastrophic explosion during a safety test in 1986, releasing large amounts of radioactive material into the environment. This incident is considered one of the worst nuclear disasters in history, contaminating land and affecting thousands of lives. Today, the site remains heavily guarded and contains a safety sarcophagus to contain radiation. Reactor No. 4 symbolizes both the risks of nuclear power and the importance of strict safety measures in nuclear technology.
