RCP Scenarios

RCP (Representative Concentration Pathway) scenarios are models used by scientists to project future climate change based on different levels of greenhouse gas emissions. They describe possible futures, like high emissions (leading to significant warming) or low emissions (more stable climate), depending on policies and technological developments. Think of them as different "storylines" that help us understand what might happen to global temperatures, sea levels, and weather patterns depending on our actions today. These scenarios assist policymakers and researchers in planning for future climate impacts and mitigation strategies.
