Rayographs

Rayographs are a type of photographic art created by placing objects directly on photographic paper and exposing them to light. When the light hits the paper, the objects block it, resulting in silhouettes or shadow images. After developing the paper, the final image displays the shapes and outlines of the objects in stark contrast, often appearing as ghostly or abstract forms. This technique was popularized by artist Man Ray and is valued for its simplicity, creative potential, and ability to transform everyday objects into striking visual compositions.
