Raymond IV of Tripoli was a nobleman and crusader from the 12th century who played a significant role in the First Crusade (1096-1099). He was the Count of Tripoli, one of the four major Crusader states established in the Levant. Known for his leadership and military skill, Raymond was influential in the capture of Holy City territories and in shaping the early Crusader states' politics.
