Ray Tube Technology

Ray Tube Technology, also known as cathode-ray tube (CRT) technology, is a method used in older television and monitor displays. It works by firing a focused stream of electrons (electron beam) at a phosphor-coated screen inside a vacuum tube. When the electrons hit the phosphor, they produce visible light, creating images. The beam is directed and shaped with magnetic or electric fields to scan across the screen quickly, drawing each frame of the picture. This technology was fundamental in early television and computer monitors before flat-panel displays replaced it.
