Ray Optical Aberration
Ray optical aberration occurs when light rays passing through a lens or mirror do not converge perfectly at a single point, causing blurriness or distortions in the image. This happens because the lens or mirror's shape isn't perfectly suited to direct all rays to the same focus, often due to imperfections or design limitations. The result is that different parts of the image may appear blurry or stretched, reducing clarity and sharpness. Such aberrations are common in optical systems and can be minimized with better lens design or corrective elements.
