Rawlsian Principles
Rawlsian principles, derived from philosopher John Rawls, focus on justice and fairness in society. They propose that societal inequalities are acceptable only if they benefit the least advantaged members and if everyone has equal access to opportunities. The core idea is to imagine rules from behind a "original position" where no one knows their social status or personal attributes, leading to fair principles. Essentially, Rawlsian principles aim to create a just society by ensuring that benefits and rights are distributed fairly, especially protecting those who are most vulnerable.
