Rawhide
Rawhide refers to the untanned, animal hide that has been dried but not yet processed into finished leather. It retains many of the natural properties of the animal’s skin, making it durable and flexible. Rawhide is commonly used for making dog chews, laces, and small leather goods. Since it isn’t yet tanned, it can be stiff and may require additional treatment or conditioning for certain uses. Its natural strength and texture make it valuable in various applications, but it can also be prone to cracking or splintering if not properly processed or cared for.
