Rasul
Rasul, in Islamic belief, is a messenger chosen by Allah to convey His divine guidance and revelations to humanity. Unlike prophets who may advise and teach, a Rasul is specifically entrusted with delivering a core message or scripture, often establishing new laws or teachings. They serve as a direct link between God and people, guiding them towards righteousness and proper worship. Not all prophets are Rasuls, but all Rasuls are prophets. Prominent Rasuls include Muhammad, Moses, and Jesus, each delivering significant messages that form the foundation of Islamic faith.
