Rapid Response Team
A Rapid Response Team (RRT) is a specialized group in a hospital designed to quickly address medical emergencies involving patients who are deteriorating or at risk of serious complications. Typically composed of nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals, the RRT responds swiftly to calls from staff to assess and stabilize patients outside of the intensive care unit. Their goal is to prevent conditions from worsening and to provide immediate care, thus improving patient outcomes and enhancing overall safety within the healthcare setting.
