Rangefinder cameras
Rangefinder cameras are types of cameras that use a separate optical system to measure the distance to your subject, allowing precise focus without moving the lens itself. When you look through the viewfinder, you see two overlapping images; aligning them ensures sharp focus. These cameras are typically compact, fast to operate, and preferred for street photography and portraits due to their accuracy and portability. Unlike DSLR cameras, they have a fixed lens system and do not use through-the-lens (TTL) viewfinders. Rangefinders excel in producing sharp images and are valued for their simplicity and responsiveness.
