Random Sample

A random sample is a way of selecting a group of individuals or items from a larger population so that each has an equal chance of being chosen. This process ensures that the sample accurately reflects the overall population's characteristics, reducing bias. For example, if you wanted to know what customers think about a product, you might randomly select a subset of customers rather than choosing only those who are most involved or vocal. By doing so, the insights gained are more likely to represent the views of all customers, making the results more reliable and valid.
