Ram Janmabhumi

Ram Janmabhumi, meaning "Ram's birthplace," is a significant religious site in Ayodhya, India, believed by many Hindus to be the exact location where Lord Rama, a revered deity, was born. Historically, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama once stood there, but it was replaced by a mosque in the 16th century. The site has been the focal point of a long-standing dispute, culminating in a Supreme Court verdict in 2019 that authorized the construction of a Hindu temple at the location, aiming to resolve the conflict peacefully and recognize its religious importance.
