Rally driving
Rally driving is a motorsport where drivers race against the clock on varied, often rough, terrain such as gravel, dirt, snow, or tarmac. Unlike circuit racing, rally stages take place on closed roads or off-road courses, with drivers navigating challenging twists, jumps, and obstacles. Precision driving skills, quick reflexes, and teamwork between driver and co-driver—who reads pace notes—are essential. The goal is to complete the course in the shortest time possible, often over multiple stages and different conditions, testing both driver endurance and vehicle durability. Rallying emphasizes adaptability, skill, and strategic planning.
