Raja Madhav Rao I was a prominent Maratha ruler in 18th-century India, known for his wise leadership and strategic skills. He became the Peshwa (chief strategist and administrator) in 1755 and worked to strengthen the Maratha Empire during a time of internal and external challenges. Madhav Rao I focused on consolidating power, improving administration, and expanding territories.
