RAGWEED
Ragweed is a common flowering plant often found in North America, especially during late summer and fall. It produces large amounts of pollen that can be carried by the wind over long distances. For many people, this pollen triggers allergic reactions such as sneezing, runny or itchy eyes, and congestion, commonly known as hay fever. Ragweed thrives in disturbed soils, fields, and roadsides. Managing exposure includes monitoring pollen counts, staying indoors during peak pollen times, and using medications or allergy treatments as needed. It’s a significant contributor to seasonal allergy symptoms for many allergy sufferers.
