Radiologist Training

Radiologist training involves several stages. First, a medical student completes a four-year program in medicine. Afterward, they enter a residency in radiology, which lasts about four to five years, where they receive hands-on training in imaging technologies like X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. Some may pursue additional fellowship training in specialized areas, such as pediatric radiology or interventional radiology. Throughout this process, they develop skills in diagnosing medical conditions through images and learn to communicate findings to other healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate and timely patient care.
