RADAR (Radio Detection and Ranging)
RADAR, which stands for Radio Detection and Ranging, is a technology that uses radio waves to detect and locate objects. A RADAR system sends out pulses of radio waves that bounce off objects, such as aircraft or ships. By measuring the time it takes for these waves to return, the system can determine the object's distance and speed. This technology is commonly used in aviation for air traffic control, meteorology to track weather patterns, and in various military applications. Essentially, RADAR allows us to "see" objects at a distance, even in poor visibility conditions.
