Rachel Corey
Rachel Corrie was an American activist who became internationally recognized for her involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In 2003, she traveled to Gaza as part of a nonviolent protest group called the International Solidarity Movement, aiming to protect Palestinian homes from demolition by the Israeli military. Tragically, she was killed by an Israeli bulldozer while trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian house. Her death sparked widespread debate about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and raised questions about the role of foreign activists in that region. Corrie's legacy continues to influence discussions on human rights and activism.
