Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) was a renowned Indian poet, playwright, and philosopher. He is celebrated for his profound contributions to literature and music, and he became the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. Tagore's works, written in Bengali and English, explore themes of humanity, nature, love, and spirituality. He is also known for composing the Indian national anthem, "Jana Gana Mana."
