Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi

Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi (1745–1812) was the founder of Chabad Chassidus, a branch of Hasidic Judaism. He is best known for authoring the "Tanya," a foundational text that explores Jewish mysticism and philosophy, emphasizing the relationship between God and the individual soul.
