Rákóczi Federation
The Rákóczi Federation was an organization established by Hungarian communities abroad, particularly in North America, to preserve and promote Hungarian culture, language, and heritage. Named after Ferenc Rákóczi, a national hero, it aimed to strengthen cultural ties among diaspora members, support Hungarian traditions, and foster a sense of national identity outside Hungary. The federation organized cultural events, educational programs, and community activities to keep Hungarian heritage alive beyond its borders. Its efforts contributed to maintaining the identity and pride of Hungarians living abroad, while also connecting them to their homeland and history.
