R.I.C.E. method

The R.I.C.E. method is a common approach to treating sprains and minor injuries. It stands for Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Rest involves limiting movement to prevent further injury. Applying Ice reduces swelling and pain. Compression with a bandage helps control swelling, and Elevation keeps the injured area raised above heart level to minimize fluid buildup. This approach supports healing, minimizes discomfort, and can prevent the injury from worsening. It's typically used shortly after injury and should be complemented with proper medical advice if symptoms persist.
