Quintiles
Quintiles are a way to divide a group of data points into five equal parts based on size or value. Imagine lining up all the data from smallest to largest; then, breaking this line into five equal segments marks the quintiles. The first quintile includes the lowest 20%, the second covers the next 20%, and so on, up to the highest 20%. Quintiles help analyze and compare different segments within a population, such as income levels, test scores, or health data, providing insight into how the data is distributed across these segments.
