
Quiche people
The Quiché people are an indigenous Maya group primarily residing in Guatemala's highland regions. They have a rich cultural identity, language, and traditions that date back centuries. The Quiché speak the K'iche' language and maintain unique agricultural practices, crafts, and spiritual beliefs rooted in Maya heritage. Despite historical challenges, including conflicts and marginalization, they continue to actively preserve their culture.
