Queer Wildlife

Queer wildlife refers to animals and plants that exhibit behaviors or traits associated with non-heteronormative identities or expressions, such as same-sex pairing, gender diversity, or non-traditional social roles. These behaviors are natural and found across many species, highlighting that diversity in sexual orientation and gender expression is a common aspect of life.
