Quasi-experimental design

A quasi-experimental design is a research method used to study the effects of an intervention or treatment when random assignment to groups isn't possible. Unlike true experiments, participants are divided into groups based on existing characteristics or circumstances. Researchers then compare these groups to see how the intervention impacts outcomes, while recognizing that other factors might influence results. This approach is useful in real-world settings where randomization is difficult, allowing for meaningful insights while accounting for practical constraints.
