Quantum Dot OLEDs (QD-OLED)

Quantum Dot OLEDs (QD-OLED) combine two advanced display technologies: OLED and quantum dots. OLEDs produce vibrant colors by emitting light from individual organic molecules, allowing for deep blacks and high contrast. Quantum dots are tiny semiconductor particles that emit precise colors when illuminated. In QD-OLEDs, OLEDs generate the light, which then excites quantum dots to produce pure, bright colors. This integration results in displays with excellent color accuracy, high contrast, and wide viewing angles, offering superior picture quality while maintaining the thin, flexible form factor of OLEDs.
