Quantitative EEG
Quantitative EEG (QEEG) is a scientific method that measures the electrical activity of the brain using special sensors placed on the scalp. It captures signals called brainwaves and analyzes them using computer software to identify patterns and give detailed insights into brain function. QEEG helps in understanding how different parts of the brain are working, which can assist in diagnosing and monitoring conditions like ADHD, depression, or sleep disorders. Unlike traditional EEG, which provides raw data, QEEG translates these signals into visual maps and statistics that make it easier for clinicians to interpret brain activity.
