Quality and Outcomes Framework
The Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) is a system used by the UK's National Health Service to improve primary care. It rewards general practitioners (GPs) for meeting specific standards of care by tracking and rewarding their performance on various health measures, such as managing chronic conditions, preventative care, and patient satisfaction. By doing so, QOF encourages practices to deliver consistent, high-quality healthcare, ultimately aiming to improve patient outcomes and ensure services are efficient and effective.
