Quaker Meeting

A Quaker Meeting is a gathering of members of the Religious Society of Friends, often called Quakers. In these meetings, participants engage in communal silence, during which they may reflect or pray inwardly. The aim is to foster a deep sense of connection with God and with one another. Occasionally, individuals may feel moved to share thoughts or messages aloud, but this is spontaneous and not pre-planned. Quaker Meetings can be for worship, business, or discussion, embodying principles of equality, simplicity, and peace, reflecting the Quaker belief in the "Inner Light" present in everyone.
