Qadiani Movement

The Qadiani Movement, also known as the Ahmadiyya Movement, originated in 19th-century India, focusing on the teachings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who claimed to be a prophet and messianic figure. While mainstream Islam considers Muhammad the final prophet, Ahmadis believe Ghulam Ahmad was a subordinate prophet and messiah meant to revive and interpret Islamic teachings. This theological difference has led to controversy and rejection of Ahmadis by many Muslim groups. The movement emphasizes peaceful propagation of faith, interfaith dialogue, and social service, but its interpretation of prophethood distinguishes it from orthodox Sunni and Shia beliefs.
