Qadiani
Qadiani refers to members of a religious movement called the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, founded in the late 19th century by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in India. They believe Ghulam Ahmad was a prophet or messiah, which differs from mainstream Islam that considers Prophet Muhammad as the final prophet. Because of these beliefs, some Muslim groups view Qadianis as outside orthodox Islam. The term "Qadiani" comes from Qa'dian, the town in India where the movement originated. The community emphasizes peace, interfaith harmony, and humanitarian work. However, their beliefs have led to controversy and varying acceptance within the broader Muslim world.
