Pyramide du Tacul
The Pyramide du Tacul is a prominent sharp-edged snow and ice formation on the southwest face of Mont Blanc in the Alps, situated at about 4,200 meters elevation. It is part of the larger Mont Blanc massif and is recognized for its challenging climbing routes that attract experienced mountaineers. The formation resembles a steep, icy pyramid and is often used as a staging point for ascents further along the mountain’s routes. Due to its technical difficulty and exposure to weather, ascending the Pyramide du Tacul requires skill, proper equipment, and careful planning.
